Experience Designer - Nectar360 (midweight)

The role:
You'll be working as part of the Nectar 360 design team; we look after the experience of digital products for suppliers and colleagues. This role will focus on supporting key B2B digital platforms, with responsibilities split across ongoing development projects. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to ensure seamless design implementation, strategic alignment, and a high-quality user experience.
What you'll do:
- Research supplier & colleague needs through observation and interviews.
- Organise and conduct research and user testing.
- Run design collaboration sessions with stakeholders from across the group to share insights and ideas.
- Collaborate & align with key stakeholders around roadmap features and prioritisation.
- Work within agile teams to get your solutions into the hands of our users.
- Lead the creation of user journey flows.
- Work with copywriters to brief new content needs across product modules as well as review the implementation of copy across sprints.
- Coordinate with third party agencies: Act as a liaison between internal, external teams and development squads to ensure new UI directions are feasible, aligned with business goals, and implemented in upcoming sprints.
- Gather and prioritise feature requirements as well as ensuring smooth handovers to Engineering teams.
- Design and test concepts and solutions.
- Champion inclusive design principles in your work and throughout the team.
What we're looking for:
Industry experience as a UX or Product Designer is essential. As are the core technical skills outlined in the role details above. Alongside this, we're looking for certain behaviours and competency skills. These skills will help you thrive in a dynamic team like ours.
Skills we're looking for:
- User centered design and knowledge of how to design inclusively
- Competency and capability at UX design process, collaboration, and co-creation
- Ability to do visual and interaction design using a design system
- Expertise designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma
- Capable of conducting research and interpreting results
- Influence and negotiation skills
- Adaptable to changing priorities, complexity and unknowns
- Stakeholder engagement, management, and confidence challenging your peers and stakeholders
- Taking initiative and driving change
- Tailoring your approach for different audiences
- Strategic mindedness – thinking of the broader picture and connecting dots.
