Web Services Analyst-Programmer

Work Environment: Research and Negotiated Police

You will be working in a dynamic and innovative department of the federal government, which promotes the use of recent and innovative processes such as Agile, Artificial Intelligence, Azure Cloud, and DEVOPS in its projects. Specifically, you will be part of the Research and Negotiated Police division of the IT service of the Federal Police, responsible for the development of applications for the judicial police, applications related to public order and health, the processing of judicial reports, and other matters connected to the Judicial Police and public order.

You will join a team that is curious about new technologies and ready to test new development methods, but you will also be tasked with maintaining and evolving existing applications.

What will your tasks be?

As part of the new penal code, which will take effect in 2026, you will be responsible for developing a very important web service to calculate, based on input from various applications, the classification of an offense.

Your tasks will include:

  • Designing, developing, and testing the web service based on prior functional and technical analyses;
  • Ensuring quality follow-up and development of multi-user, high-availability, and high-visibility applications;
  • Providing technical advice in your specific area of expertise while proposing possible adaptations to projects;
  • Analyzing user needs;
  • Writing technical documentation;
  • Providing adequate technical support for the web service;
  • Assisting/coaching your colleagues;
  • Working on the full development cycle.

Your skills

  • Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in IT or equivalent through experience;
  • Be a French or Dutch speaker and be willing to work in a multilingual environment (French, Dutch, English);
