ABOUT THE POSITION

The position is responsible for creating and maintaining a stable and secure IT environment, as well as ensuring the continuity and performance of the network infrastructure and/or end-user applications, with the aim of supporting business processes and user experiences.

• Contribute to the renewal of hardware and/or software components and perform the necessary functional or technical analyses to meet the needs of end users and the company.
• Manage and follow up on technical needs and communicate with stakeholders such as project managers, architects, and suppliers regarding technical requirements.
• Compare and provide advice for the selection of technology, including hardware and licenses.
• Design and document technical or functional solutions.
• Monitor, maintain, test, and secure the IT infrastructure and/or software applications to ensure a high degree of reliability, security, and user-friendliness for end users.
• Test and validate functionalities.
• Ensure the efficient operation of tools and systems.
• Maintain data structures and/or system configurations, provide a high-performance environment for data management, and ensure backups of user files to guarantee the correctness of company data and enable quick recovery in case of loss or damage.
• Ensure the quality of the data structure.
• Monitor data processes.
• Analyze, resolve, and follow up on application- or network-related issues in order to restore the functioning of these applications or networks.
• Analyze and resolve error messages and technical problems.
• Provide second-line support to ICT colleagues.
• Perform preventive actions to avoid downtime.
• Formulate proposals for the renewal and optimization of the activity domain to meet current and future business needs.
• Keep track of developments within the field.
• Gather and analyze feedback.
• Develop and propose concepts for process improvements.
• Safeguard knowledge and keep data and documentation up to date for one's own area of expertise, as well as communicate information to maintain a correct and complete overview of all available components and applications throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Manage inventories and/or diagrams.
• Register and update information in management tools.
• Provide demos, documentation, and user manuals and share them.

JOB CONTENT

The position holder is responsible for the analysis and documentation of the functional requirements provided by end users.

The position holder acts as a bridge between Business and ICT and supports the internal team of Application Managers in the implementation and maintenance of applications across the different Business Units.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with:
• functional analysis, minimum 5 years;
• current analysis methods and tools;
• collaboration within small and medium-sized development teams;

• a background in development is a plus.

• Knowledge of:

• agile development methodologies;
• standard business processes, including administration, production, and logistics;
• BPMN, UML, and testing methodologies;
• API design, service-oriented architectures, and event-driven architectures;

• integration patterns and communication via services and events.

• Educational level:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in an ICT-oriented field (or equivalent through experience).

• Language skills:

• Dutch: active knowledge, spoken and written;
• French: basic knowledge, spoken and written;

• English: advanced knowledge, spoken and written.
