Specialist in management and maintenance of integration platforms

As part of the BCED, SPW Digital, and more specifically the Data Exchange Service Center, has been designated as a stakeholder in the IT hub.

One of the important missions of the Service Center is to provide an IT system (Enterprise Service Bus and API Management Solution) – enabling data exchanges between applications and authentic sources.

Alongside the implementation of data exchanges, these platforms are also intended to support a large part of the technologies involved in the SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture / API) approach, which SPW Digital has decided to adopt.

Web Services and APIs are at the heart of SOA and are typically deployed on these platforms. These deployments are similar to system administration and configuration tasks, but also involve development due to the significant variability of each Web Service or API.

In this context, SPW Digital is looking for a specialist responsible for the administration, operation, and maintenance of our integration platforms (ESB, API Management, etc.), whose tasks will include:

  • Ensuring the administration, configuration, and supervision of integration platforms (ESB, API Management).
  • Participating in the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Web Services and APIs.
  • Contributing to the automation of processes using tools such as Ansible, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.
  • Providing level 2 technical support to internal teams.
  • Participating in system monitoring (monitoring, logs, alerting).
  • Documenting procedures, configurations, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with project teams in an Agile environment.

Skills that are an advantage for the role:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Clear communication: Ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way, write precise documentation, and interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to comply with established standards
  • Ability to work with a continuous improvement mindset: Willingness to question existing practices, propose optimizations, and automate repetitive tasks to gain efficiency.
  • Ability to demonstrate constructive critical thinking: Ability to objectively evaluate technical choices, make relevant comments, and contribute to collective decisions in a spirit of collaboration.
  • Teamwork skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, system administrators, project managers, and other stakeholders. The specialist should be able to share information, listen to needs, and contribute to a collective dynamic.
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to understand complex architectures, diagnose technical problems, and propose suitable solutions. This includes the ability to analyze logs, integration flows, or system behaviors.
  • Autonomy: Ability to manage tasks independently, take initiative, and move forward without constant supervision, while respecting priorities and deadlines.
  • Rigor: Attention to detail in configuration, documentation, and following procedures. Rigor is essential to ensure the stability and security of integration platforms.
  • Versatility: easily switch from one activity and/or project to another depending on the service’s needs
  • Service-oriented approach – support internal and external clients transparently, with integrity and objectivity, provide them with personalized service, and maintain constructive contacts
  • Problem solving – handle and resolve problems independently, seek alternatives, and implement solutions
  • Achieving objectives – demonstrate commitment, willingness, and ambition to generate results and take responsibility for the quality of actions taken

Evaluation Method

A more detailed questionnaire based on specific questions will be sent to candidates prior to the interview.

This questionnaire may, if necessary, be eliminatory if the answers are unsatisfactory or show that the candidate does not meet these requirements.

The remaining candidates will be invited for an interview before a panel, whose composition will be communicated later.

The interview may take place remotely if circumstances require.
