As part of the BCED, SPW Digital and more specifically the Data Exchange Service Center has been designated as a stakeholder of the IT department.

One of the main missions of the Service Center is to provide an IT system (Enterprise Service Bus and API Management Solution) – enabling data exchanges between applications and authentic sources.

In addition to implementing data exchanges, these platforms are also intended to support a large part of the technologies involved in the SOA approach (Service-Oriented / API Approach), which SPW Digital has decided to follow.

Web Services and APIs are at the heart of SOA and are typically deployed on these platforms. These deployments are similar to system administration and configuration tasks, but also involve development due to the significant variability of each Web Service or API.

SPW Digital therefore wishes to engage the services of a specialist in SOA services and tools, whose missions will include:

• Managing the configurations of Web Services deployed on the data exchange platform (Google Apigee)
• Designing, testing, and deploying SOAP web services, from defining a WSDL and associated XSDs to developing the components
• Designing, testing, and deploying REST web services
• Documenting the services designed at the technical level and providing support for the comprehensive documentation published for partners
• Assisting the Service Desk in managing incidents related to SOA elements (applications and infrastructure)
• Implementing and managing SOA-type and related services (processing orchestration, batch, ETL jobs, etc.)
• Assisting with the implementation and configuration of software infrastructures in various environments (development, test, production, etc.)
• Providing technical support to development teams integrating the services exposed on APIGEE

Skills considered an advantage for the role:

• Good knowledge of Web Service WS-* stack standards: WSDL, WS-Security, SOAP
• Good knowledge of the Google APIGEE product
• Knowledge of web languages (HTML, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, etc.)
• Knowledge of the CXF, Axis (Java), and WCF (*.net) frameworks
• Experience in designing ETL-type jobs
• Excellent writing skills
• Clear communication: communicating with others while ensuring that received and transmitted information is understood
• Ability to comply with existing standards
• Ability to work with a continuous improvement mindset

Evaluation Method

A more detailed questionnaire based on specific questions will be sent to candidates prior to the interview.

This questionnaire may, if applicable, be eliminatory if the answers are not satisfactory or demonstrate that the candidate does not meet these requirements.

The remaining candidates will be invited for an interview before a panel, the composition of which will be communicated later.

The interview may take place remotely if circumstances require.
