The Client is leading the web communication domain, working with services across the Commission to ensure that the online communications are relevant, coherent and cost-effective.

Among several activities and products, strong governance of the Commission's web presence on the Europa web domain, is one of the key enablers to facilitate the domain leadership. One of the objectives of the Client is to procure services supporting business process optimization as well as monitoring of the performance and compliance of websites.

💼 Your Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, these are the main tasks that you'll be responsible for:

• Propose cost-effective and sustainable technical solutions to inventory-related activities
• Translating the business needs into technical specs and concrete solutions
• Propose and run monitoring activities (performance of Commission websites, evolution of the different compliance tracks, specific measurements) and gather evidence on the overall status of the domain
• Oversee the implementation of monitoring tools
• Propose improvements/streamlining actions to existing processes in view of efficiency gains
• Draft reports and documentation based on the data gathered through the monitoring activities
• Contribute to the regular update of common spaces for sharing information and for the timely execution of tasks
• Ensure that quality control measures are in place, documented and applied
• Ensure the coherence of a portfolio of related projects (without overlaps or contradictions, no duplication of tasks)
• Provide support to project management activities
• Contribute to the identification of project-related risks, issues and mitigation measures
• Propose training actions on the different activities

🛠️ What You'll Bring

✅ Technical Skills:

• Experience in developing set of tools using Microsoft PowerBI and Power Apps.
• Being able to translate the business needs into technical specs and concrete solutions.
• Strong IT background, some prior knowledge of the Microsoft tools and the capacity to understand business requirements
• Great expertise in process optimization
• Proven knowledge of JIRA (or similar ticketing system)
• Proven expertise in gathering and engineering requirements matching existing or possible technical solutions
• Experience in working in large, multicultural organizations and as part of multidisciplinary teams is required
• Good understanding of development principles and processes, hands-on experience with Drupal CMS
• Experience in coordinating projects, preferably involving active monitoring of progress on identified business/policy areas
• Experience in working with an institutional web presence

🗣️ Languages:

• Excellent knowledge of English - Level C1 in Understanding, Speaking and Writing
