Scrum Master

Mission Description

The EIL (Enterprise Integration Layer) team is looking for a Senior Scrum Master.

The mission of the team is to ensure and guarantee the sustainable exchange of data within the company and with its partners. To this end, the team develops and maintains several solutions enabling data exchanges across various application domains. The types of exchanges are mainly carried out via web services and/or event-driven messages.

The work will consist of supporting the team in delivering the requested features while respecting deadlines and priorities.

The desired candidate will take an active part in the EIL team and will work daily with analysts, developers, testers, and architects from the team and related teams.

Main activities:

  • Ensure the organization of Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective
  • Monitor incidents and bugs
  • Work on team cohesion
  • Ensure follow-up on requests to/from the team

  • To the team

    • Record / filter requests
    • Ensure internal follow-up within the team
    • Communicate with the requester
    • Challenge the team’s deliverables before delivery to the requester
    • Provide delivery support
  • From the team to suppliers

    • Record the team’s requests
    • Contact and place requests with suppliers
    • Follow up on requests with the supplier
    • Challenge the supplier’s deliverables
    • Provide delivery support to the team
  • To the team

    • Monitor the team’s work through a weekly status meeting, as well as through integrated presence with the team
    • Handle requests from start to finish with the Service Delivery teams (network, server), both administratively and technically
    • Maintain contacts with the appropriate persons in the SD service
    • Complete request forms, handling technical writing in collaboration with the team
    • Ensure follow-up on requests and reminders
    • Challenge the deliverables
  • Handle change requests for deployments in acceptance and production environments

  • Create and monitor change requests in ServiceNow
  • Be the team's point of contact for the release manager and change managers

Technical skills specific to the mission and its environment:

  • Proven experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of development in C# .NET Framework and C#.NET Core
  • Knowledge of Git / Bitbucket (push, pull, branching, merging)
  • Knowledge of .NET WCF Service
  • Knowledge of .NET Windows services
  • Knowledge of Domain Driven Design
  • Knowledge of data transfer protocols (http, FTP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of XML, XSD, JSON, and data transformations
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), Queuing, web services (SOAP / REST)

Functional skills:

  • Experience and sector knowledge (transportation) is not required but is an asset.

The mission can be renewed for a maximum duration (including the initial period) of: 880 working days.
