With the recruitment of a CI/CD implementation specialist, the ICT Staff Department of the FPS Justice aims to evolve towards a professional CI/CD approach by:

• Mapping existing initiatives
• Distilling best practices from initiatives and supplementing them with market best practices; this will become the standard to be monitored
• Setting up the necessary reusable tooling
• Developing a step-by-step plan with each team, starting with the largest/most recent initiatives to facilitate the transition
• Documenting the standard and progress in the transition
• Supporting development teams during the transition

The required expertise is described as follows:

• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience as responsible for CI/CD implementations in similar projects / complex environments
• At least 3 years of experience in DevOps teams building CICD pipelines
• At least 2 years of practical experience working with continuous delivery environments and more specifically integrating automation tools such as Sonar, Selenium with other tools such as (Gitlab, Github, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• At least 3 years of experience with Docker
• At least 1 year of experience with automation within Cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
• At least 1 year of experience with ELK stack
• Experience with integration through pipelines of SCA (for example CAST Highlight) and SAST tools is a plus

As a CI/CD implementation expert, you also possess the following qualities:

• Solid communication and change management skills with development teams, infrastructure teams, and management
• Work experience with tools such as MS Teams, Jira & Confluence in the context of collaboration and knowledge sharing

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for continuous improvement and innovation of current software integration and deployment processes and tools in accordance with CICD best practices
• Mapping current CI/CD processes and gradually establishing an improvement plan towards standardization and increasing the level of automation/quality
• Guiding teams in executing the improvement plan
• Taking on leadership responsibilities, influencing the direction of automation efforts, being involved in building automation processes, environments, and scripts that ensure the highest software quality.
• Communicating implementation plans, issues, delays, and risks for CICD automation with project teams, management, and other stakeholders

Assignment duration:

• 308 hours during the last quarter of 2027
• There is an optional extension foreseen for 2028, with a maximum of 1760 hours. Subject to the approval of the Finance Inspectorate.
