Famiwal is looking for a JAVA developer.

Within the Itinera team, you will actively contribute to the evolution of our family allowance management platform. You will be involved throughout the entire application lifecycle: from technical design to production deployment, with a particular focus on backend robustness and user experience fluidity.

Hybrid remote/on-site work in Charleroi is mandatory.

Main responsibilities

Development & Code Quality

• Design and develop complex features in Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Build modern and responsive interfaces using Angular (while maintaining the JSF codebase).
• Ensure software quality by writing unit/integration tests and practicing peer code reviews.
• Ensure data persistence via Hibernate and optimize queries to guarantee Itinera's performance.

Architecture & Ecosystem

• Participate in the design and exposure of secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Work on continuous integration and deployment within our OpenShift environment.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts to translate legislative requirements (Family Allowances) into elegant technical solutions.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the automation of development processes via our CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Renovate).
• Ensure code compliance via SonarQube.
• Be proactive in proposing ways to modernize the technical stack and optimize application performance.
